Hi! I’m Ann — and together with my friend Kara, we created PleasureX.

We’re not a big company. We’re just two women who believe that sexual wellness should be simple, safe, and something to smile about — not something to feel awkward or judged for.

I’m a mom of two wonderful little humans (a big brother and a little sister), building this store in the cracks between nap time, homework, and real life. Kara is a single, independent soul who’s got the best eye for detail — and an unstoppable curiosity about what makes people feel good.

We started PleasureX because we were tired of shopping experiences that felt either sketchy, cold, or just... off. We wanted a space that felt warm, inviting, and actually helpful — where people like us could find quality toys, sexy lingerie, and helpful info, all in one place.

Kara helps pick the right products, edits descriptions to make sure they’re clear and kind, and curates all the helpful articles we share. I handle the store setup, shipping flow, and making sure everything runs smoothly and discreetly — all while juggling life with two kids (and more coffee than I should probably admit).

We don’t have a warehouse or staff — we run through a fulfillment partner (dropshipping), which lets us offer a bigger variety without raising prices. But we’re involved in everything: testing, writing, designing, learning, and growing.

We’re here because we believe pleasure is part of health. And everyone deserves a safe, shame-free space to explore it.
